Every weekend this summer, the amazing food-marketeers of Kerb are setting up shop at the beautiful Southbank Centre in London.
Kerb’s usual home is in the regenerating Kings Cross, but this summer we have the pleasure of their company in one of London’s most loved locations. You can pop along Friday – Sunday at the times below to sample the best of London’s food trucks:
- Fridays 12pm-9.30pm
- Saturdays 11am-8pm
- Sundays 12pm-6pm
I have been to a couple of the weekend fiestas now and finally having the time to share with you guys – you HAVE to go! Not only are all the stalls amazingly luscious food, drink and DJs, manned by beautiful people, the location itself has a fun feel with the Festival of Love exhibit going on and the London Wonderground‘s fantastical shows on the riverside.
Some of London’s hottest food offerings can be found at the market – there are different vendors each day. You can check out the Kerb website for more info if you are trying to track something specific down (like I am usually with Bao!) Here is a photo tour of what we saw and sampled before heading to the Royal Festival Hall Roof Garden to have pimms with friends one weekend.
My fave (with chicken on request) – Bao!
Rainbo Gyoza:
Delicious ice cream by Sorbitum ( I had the Guava cheesecake after much deliberation!)
Mojito ice lollies!!
And a fab ‘Edible Bus Stop’ to sit and eat your goodies!
Kerb at Southbank gets a big smackerooni of approval from me – I hope to get down there as often as possible before the fun is over for the summer!
